Brief inbound phone service interruption scheduled for Thursday, 1/4, 9pm-1am

Update: The migration work has been rescheduled for a later time on January 4, 2018. The updated schedule appears below.

On Thursday, January 4, 2018, beginning at 9PM, Library and Technology Services will migrate campus Direct Inward Dial (DID) telephone service from Lehigh’s existing provider, Windstream, to the new provider, CenturyLink. This change is part of our overall Unified Communications (VoIP) strategy to modernize the university phone system.

This means calls from off-campus to campus phone numbers (610-758-0000 through 610-758-6999) will be suspended for small groups of users at a time for a short duration. During the few minutes service is suspended, incoming calls will not be sent to voicemail.

The work is expected to be completed by 1AM, Friday, January 5, 2018.
