The Friends of the Lehigh Libraries and the MLK Committee are sponsoring several book discussions on The Underground Railroad by Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Colson Whitehead. The author will deliver the MLK address as part of Lehigh University's Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at Baker Hall on March 6, 2018.
Lehigh’s librarians encourage the campus community to read Whitehead’s novel and join others to discuss the powerful themes the book addresses, what they learned from reading it, and what questions they might ask the author during his visit.
There is still time to register for one of the remaining discussions!
- Tuesday, February 13, Noon to 1:00 pm in Linderman 200
- Monday, February 26, Noon to 1:00 pm in Linderman 200
