Library and Technology Services is pleased to introduce eduroam (education roaming), a free and secure global roaming access service for the international research and education community.

With eduroam, Lehigh faculty, students, and staff can use their Lehigh account credentials (email address and password) to obtain wireless access to the internet at participating institutions around the world.

Eduroam uses secure encryption and authentication standards, which make it significantly safer than commercial wireless hotspots.

How to use eduroam:

  1. Request access: You will not be able to use eduroam unless you have been granted access to the service. Submit your request here or contact the Help Desk at (610) 758-4357 or helpdesk@lehigh.edu.
  2. Configure eduroam: When visiting a participating institution for the first time, configure eduroam on your Windows, MacOS, iOS, or Android device. After the initial setup, no additional configuration is required on the device when connecting to eduroam anywhere.

For more information about the service, visit the eduroam FAQ, or for a complete list of participating institutions, see eduroam subscribers.

Lehigh guest wireless access for visitors to Lehigh University (lehigh-guest) will remain unchanged. Lehigh students, faculty and staff should continue to use Lehigh wireless (lehigh) when on campus for the most secure and fastest wireless performance.

If you need assistance connecting to eduroam while at another institution, please contact the LTS Help Desk at (610) 758-4357 or helpdesk@lehigh.edu.
