Welcome, new and returning students! We’re excited to announce a number of significant enhancements to places and spaces at the EWFM Library that were completed over the summer.
The Cafe @ FML!
The most anticipated addition to the library opened its doors on September 3rd. We’re excited to welcome The Cafe @ FML, a vibrant and inviting space where students can dine, work, collaborate, and socialize in a casual atmosphere. The 45-seat cafe offers grab-and-go options, such as coffee, tea, fresh sandwiches and salads, and doubles as a study space where students and visitors can take a break in their busy days to recharge.
The replacement of the west end facade with floor-to-ceiling glass offers a welcome connection to the outdoors, where students and visitors can enjoy more natural light and an open view to the EWFM Patio, now with additional outdoor seating. The cafe has two entrances: one from the main door to the library and one from the south breezeway, across from the Digital Media Studio. The current 3rd floor cafe will be converted into additional study space.
Just outside the cafe, you’ll find a new lounge seating area and information media wall, perfect for impromptu meetings, studying, and socializing.
A Grand Opening will take place on September 11, 2019 at 4:15 p.m. Watch your inbox for details!

Introducing your one stop service desk!
Also over summer, the Help Desk and Circulation Desk merged to form a unified service space located just inside the lobby. The new Help Desk will accommodate all your computing, library research, circulation, lending, and ILL walk-up services needs at this central location, making it easy to get what you need in one place. Questions? Just Ask!

Students, need computer help? Get it at STARS!
Whether you just need advice on your system performance, have a hardware issue, or want more in-depth service like backing up your data, reformatting your hard disk, or viruses/malware removed, our Student Technology and Repair Services (STARS) consultants can help!
STARS was relocated this summer from the lower level of the EWFM Computing Center to the 4th floor of the library, Room 453, just steps northeast of the Help Desk.
Access to Computer Repair Services (CRS) was also made more convenient. You can now get to CRS from inside the library if you need to take your computer or other hardware in for service.
Fall/Spring semesters: Monday thru Friday 10AM-8PM
