LTS Research Computing will host a three-day scientific programming workshop from June 1 to June 3, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM in 502 Packard Lab. The workshop will cover programming in Fortran on June 1 and 2, and C on June 3.
This workshop will include hands-on exercises on the Maia cluster, so familiarity with Linux command line interface and editors such as vi/emacs is beneficial. No prior programming background is required. The workshop will not cover IDEs such as Eclipse, MS Visual Studio, etc. The goal of this workshop is to learn how to program in Fortran, C or both--not how to use an IDE.
To sign up, go to: go.lehigh.edu/LTS-seminars
Depending on your interest, you can register for the Fortran, C, or both workshops.
