New JSTOR e-books

You are here

Lehigh University now provides access to scholarly e-books on JSTOR in a pilot program partnership with the The Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium, Inc. (PALCI). This resource offers more than 35,000 titles from leading publishers such as Princeton University Press, Yale University Press, and MIT Press. The e-books are easy to use and offer the following benefits:

- Unlimited download and printing of book chapters.
The e-book chapters have no limits on PDF downloads or printing, and there’s no need to use special software or create a login. It’s just like using journals on JSTOR except with books. All titles are searchable in the ASA catalog.

- Easy to use and share.
Stable URLs to JSTOR e-books or to individual chapters can be placed in Course Site or freely shared with other Lehigh users.

- Integration with journals.
The e-books are available on JSTOR alongside more than 2,000 journals. Cross-searching will retrieve both e-book chapters and journal articles.

You can view a short video (https://vimeo.com/105789568) about using e-book chapters, or visit JSTOR.org to start using the e-books. If you have any questions, contact your librarian:
