Do you know the oldest tree on campus? The newest? Have you ever heard of the Tangled Bank? How about the Sacred Grove? Come to the E.W. Fairchild Martindale Library lobby to learn about the significant trees of Lehigh, the history of our trees, and current campus efforts to manage and develop these irreplaceable natural resources.

Trees on Lehigh’s campus may seem to have evolved naturally into the spectacular views and vistas we enjoy today, but in actuality our unique mountainside setting was developed through the vision of Lehigh’s early leaders. This exhibit is a tribute to Lehigh’s trees and the people who made our campus the natural treasure that it is. Exhibit runs through December 2016.
