Do you know the oldest tree on campus? The newest? Have you ever heard of the Tangled Bank? How about the Sacred Grove? If you missed the 2016 E.W. Fairchild-Martindale Library exhibit that answered these questions, check out the new and expanded online exhibit, Trees of Lehigh: A Living Legacy.
The original exhibit, which was on display last year in the E.W. Fairchild-Martindale Library, featured significant trees of Lehigh, the history of our trees, and campus efforts to manage and develop these irreplaceable natural resources.
The online version of Trees of Lehigh has been expanded to include new topics, links to local and regional historical documents and photos, a slideshow of unique tree species on our campus, an online resource list, and more!
